The Stars That Usher Evening Rose

This is just a post to tell you all that we are having a few computer problems that we hope to have fixed soon. So until we have it fixed I will hold off on explaining our trip to Nashville. So until then I hope you all have/had a Merry Christmas.

Cathy arrived here this evening and tomorrow me, my parents, and Cathy leave for Nashville to go to the Grand Old Opery Hotel to stay the night. My dad has been wanting to take us for a while. Its only for the one night so we will return Wednesday and William and Jacqueline will get in from their dads on Thursday.

On Thursday I will finally start and hopefully finish my Christmas shopping. My sister and I will probably spend the majority of the day at the mall. My parents are also going but they will one stay for a little while before returning home so they will be here when the kids arrive.

Since Andrew, Emily, and Matt all saw what I had to show everybody I will let Michael know since he was unable to see it. It was a new car that my dad had bought back in October and over Thanksgiving break he offered me a trade in that he would give me the new car in exchange for my current car. The new car is a brand new PT Cruiser doesn't even have 4,000 miles on it yet. I still don't know exactly what I want to do yet though I am some what leaning in a certain direction but I am still a ways from making a final decision.

Other than that not a whole lot has happened so I shall post again when I return. Hopefully Thursday night assuming no one else is hogging the computer.

Well I had typed out this whole post and then lost the whole damn thing. Basically what I had said in it is that I returned home Friday at 3:30pm but due to not having internet until yesterday I have not been able to post until now.

I went to matts Sunday and we played video games, watched the Falcons game, he opened some presents from relatives since they were there and since they wont be home for Christmas. We also went and got Ice Cream and watched I'Robot which that has been the first time I had seen it. I really enjoyed it and It is also more realistic than most people probably realize. I will be back in PTC on Thursday because Matt invited me to go bowling with him and his co-workers.

My dad is doing much better he was sore and didn't do a whole lot the first two days I was home but the last couple days he has been doing much better and is actually at the mall with my mom right now as I type this.

My sister is coming into town next week for Christmas and the kids will be staying with their dad for the first few days so me, my parents, and Cathy are going to The Opreyland Hotel in Nashville for two days then returning home in time for the kids to come over here. That's is pretty much it for now I guess so I will post again the next time something post worthy comes about.

My last final exam starts in nine and half hours from now. So therefore I should be out of here in about eleven and half hours from now. So I will get home tomorrow afternoon. For those of you in PTC I hope to make it down there sometime next week when some of you are not working.

Today though I noticed the school is charging me out of state prices again this semester when they shouldn't. Yes, I know I do live out of state but they don't know that because I had given them all my information to be switched over to my sisters place and I have a NC tag and license. But anyway after a year of living in state your supposed to be considered instate. The school has had this information for over a year now but is still trying to make me pay out of state prices. So I went and asked around to find out what was going on and they tell me I have to fill out some stupid form and attach to it as much proof as I have of NC residency. On top of that the deadline to pay is next week or they will cancel my classes. I was also told that if I fill the form out with the proof attached that there is no way they could take a look at it before the deadline has passed. So I got sent to another person who supposedly can put some kind of flag up to let them know not to cancel my account so that they can look at the paper work and make a decision. I was also told that to do this I have to atleast pay instate prices and if they don't approve the papers then I have to pay the rest for out of state. So therefore when I get home tomorrow over the weekend I have to fill that paperwork out and attach my proof and send it to them. Tomorrow I will have to go pay that instate cost so they will put that "flag" as they call it up on my account. So that means even going through all this work they still might not approve what I send them and continue to charge me out of state prices. Talk about a pain in the ass if they do. So they better approve that shit or there going to be some pissed off people.

My father's surgery went well. They had no problems and expect him to go home sometime tomorrow. So that is good news.

Today I have spent most of the day doing basically nothing but studying for my Java final I had earlier this evening. I got lucky as hell with that final. My professor took about 80% of the final word for word from the review sheet. So that made it much easier and left me feeling confident that I should easily get my C in that class now possibly even a high C. Tomorrow I have two finals my Basketball final in the morning and my Weather Analysis final in the afternoon and then I will only have the one left on Friday.

I have also found out that my family is not leaving for Christmas to go to my sister's place as first planned. Now they are coming to our place. Jeralyn and her crew are going to come down the weekend before Christmas and then Cathy and her crew will be down the week of Christmas. I guess I am not going to complain because that means two Christmas's for us.

I have not gotten near the amount of studying done that I had planned this weekend. Partly due to my not really wanted to study and putting it off and party because of my roommate.

Saturday I slept in until 2pm so that killed a large chunk of study time right there. So when I did start trying to study I kept getting distracted by all the College Football games that slowed my progress down. Then around 6pm or so Michael calls me telling me about this new program called Skype that allows you to talk to people online as long as you have an internet connection and a mircophone. It has versions on there for Linus, Windows, and Macs. So I then got distracted by that and by 11pm my studying had come to a screeching halt. We spent about the next 4 hours playing songs and having the other try to guess what song it was. Yes we lead such interesting lives can't you tell. So finally after finishing talking with him at like 4:30am I went to bed.

Today I woke up at 1pm and once again got distracted by the TV trying to do my studying. Around 1:30 my roommate arrived back as he was gone for the weekend. At 2:30 while I was actually doing some of my studying he proceeds to get up and turn the light off that I was using and lay down and go to sleep. So now I could not even see to do my studying. So I tried to use the light emitted from my TV to do my studying and it worked well enough though slowed me down some. Now I am at work and when I left the room at 5:30 the inconsiderate asshole was still asleep. Not my problem if he fucked around all weekend and didn't get enough sleep especially knowing exams are next week. Even though my roommate can be extremely inconsiderate at times overall I can't complain to much, I guess.

Tomorrow I only have one exam, my Java final, and its not until 6pm so that will give me time to attempt to make up for lost study time of this weekend.

Also tomorrow my dad goes in for his surgery on his kidney. Hopefully that will all go well. It should keep him pretty much sidelined until Christmas. So that means once I get home next Friday I will probably have to help out around the place a little more than normal until he gets back to normal.

Also everyone keeps bugging me about what this thing is I have to show you guys. I can assure you its nothing as big or as special as you all seem to be making it to be. It is nothing I have done or am about to do to my body, so no piercings or tattoos nothing like that. Only reason I wont say what it is now is mainly because I feel I will get better responses when you all see it in person than you will if I sat here trying to describe it to you. So you will just have to wait until I come down in about a week or so.

Hard to believe it's December already. Where has the year gone. I mean in 25 days it will be Christmas and in 60 days it will be my 22nd birthday. Still seems like yesterday that the last birthday past.

Exams start next week. I seem to be one of the few if not the only person who actually looks forward to finals. I look at it this way. Yeah that means I have to do a lot of studying but finals also mean that there is an extended break from school right around the corner. I keep that in mind and it makes finals week bearable. I have my last final on Friday after having my other three on Monday and Tuesday. The Friday one is my Calc. final so once I finish that one I can head back to Atlanta and I wont have to be back up here until the 9th or 10th of January so I will get a nice long break. Course by the time its over I will probably think it was too short just like I do with all the other breaks.

I have already mentioned this to Michael but when I come down to PTC one time over break I will need everyone's help. When I come down I am going to bring something with me and I will need your help deciding what I should do about it because I am torn as to what I should do. So I will ask everyone's opinion. You can let your mind run wild as to what it is if you like but I am pretty sure you will not guess what it is. Its nothing really that huge I guess but you all will just have to wait and see.
