The Stars That Usher Evening Rose

"Wan night, the shadow goer, came stepping in." -- Philip James Bailey

Matt came and up and spent the night on Saturday. He got here just before 3pm and I had to work from 4-7pm so he stayed and watched the dog and then walked up to the Subway right before I got off. We went to Arby's for dinner then came back to the apartment. Matt found a place to play put-put so we went and played a round of put-put which we tied. On the way to play put-put we stopped at Blockbuster and I dropped off a movie and then rented the game Driv3r so far I am already 2/3 of the way through the game. The game is decent but I think that Driver 1 and 2 are a little better. After put-put we came back the apartment and played video games till 5am. The next day Matt left around 1pm or so because he had to pack for his trip that he and his family left for on Monday plus I had to be at work again at 4pm.

At work recently they have had me working afternoons/evenings which I am not complaining so far its the only shift that is anything like the shifts I had at the old Subway I worked at. Plus this shift is less stressful than the lunch shifts.

Sunday my parents got back from Pittsburgh around 10:30pm and now they will turn around and leave again this Friday the 2nd of July to head to Orlando till the 5th. My mom will stay down there to get things ready for when everyone comes down for Disney World and my dad will come back with the car.

Once again I write to no one. Anthelion needs to hurry up and get home so that atleast someone reads this damn thing once in a blue moon.

Anyway, my parents just left this morning and will be gone until Sunday which means its just me and Clancy for the next 5 days. I am not complaining I like having the place basically to myself. Matt supposedly is going to come up Saturday and hang out so that should be cool. Other than that and working I don't know what I am going to do, probably close to nothing since all my friends are either an hour away or in another country right now.

It has been conformed no one but Michael reads my blog, since I have only had two hits since my last post one of which was me. So since he is out of the country that means I am writing to no one, oh well. Not that I am surprised.

My sister came in Thursday night and stayed through today when she and the kids left to go home until they come back in about 3 or so weeks to leave for Disney World.

On Friday I went to Matt's b-day party and no offense to Matt but it was pretty lame. Though this is Matt so what else do you expect. Only people there besides me and matt were, Andrew, Emily, Arthur, Matts brother's girlfriend, and Matt's mom. All we did was play video games and eat cake at his house and after words we went Bowling were I bowled a 138, 127, and 106. Though that last game I didn't bowl the whole thing because my wrist started to bother me. Andrew, Emily, and Arthur didn't go bowling with us though because Andrew had to work early the next day. We did pick up Ashely from work and she went bowling with us and three other of Matt's friends met us there. I ended up getting back to my apartment around 2am. Also on Friday William went to spend the night at a friends house down in PTC.

On Saturday we all, with the exception of William as he was still at his friends house, went to the mall. I didn't buy anything because I couldn't find anything I wanted that wasn't more expensive than other places I had seen it before. I also finished reading False Memory on Saturday because my sister wanted to borrow it to read it. I also let her borrow my other two Dean Koontz books that I read so she could read those.

Today has been pretty lame done nothing but watch the race and movie. Though I did start reading Winter Moon today. I guess that is all for now.

I realize I haven't posted in a while but that is because I have been fairly busy, with my nephew and niece in town, or to lazy to get online. So this post has the potently to be long.

Today I worked from 12-4 and Nahrin (Not sure if that's how to spell his name), who I haven't seen since High School, came in to get a sandwich so I talked with him for a little bit. He is up here in Dunwoody working in the medical field someplace, he told me were but I forgot. So it was pretty cool to see him again. After work me, my parents, my nephew, and my niece went and saw Shrek 2. We promised Jacqueline that we would take her to go see it. The movie was decent, had some funny points to it but the story line was the same as billions of other movies before it.

On Monday I woke up with a sore back but thought it was just a kink or something so after eating breakfast me, my parents, and my nephew went to Elijay so my parents could close on a piece or property that they are selling that leaves them with just 2 other pieces of property up there. Jacqueline was at her dads. After that we were going to go golfing but when we went to put the clubs in the car I attempted to pick one of the bags up and felt a sharp pain in my back and drop the bag. Even though I was pretty sure I had pulled my back I hoped that maybe it was just a fluke and that we could still play our round of golf. So we decided to go to the driving range just to get streached out and so I could attempted to loosen up. But, unfortunately it didn't work that way and my back just got worse so I asked my mom if she had some Ibuprofen or something hoping it would make the pain go away long enough to play, she didn't have any. So we went to the store and bought some and I took three of them and it didn't help me any so we ended up going home without playing thanks to my back. On the way back home my boss called asking if I could work Tuesday and I told her that I doubted it because of my back so she said she would find someone to cover for me and that to call her on Tuesday to let her know if I could work Wednesday. Later that evening my back was feeling a little better so I attempted to get something out of the top shelf of my closet which ended up being a really stupid decision. Within minutes my back tightened up 5 times tighter than it was. It got so bad I couldn't even walk standing straight up I was hunched way over because it hurt to much to straighten my back out. So my mom went and got me one of her pain pills and set up a heating/message pad that I could lay down on to help kill the pain and loosen up my back. It helped quite a bit. By Tuesday I was feeling much better and told my boss that I could work Wednesday. Today my back is back at about 80%.

I worked Saturday and after I got off me, my dad and my nephew went to see the 3rd Harry Potter movie. I myself am not a big Harry Potter fan but the movies are decent and plus it gave me an excuse to go to the movies. Though the 3rd one I think is the better of the 3 so far. Just my opinion though.

As for my reading of my books I have slacked off due to my nephew and niece being in town. Though the other day I did buy the next book I plan to read called Winter Moon. Do I even need to say who it's by?

Oh and the Lakers got their asses handed to them last night by the Pistons. So I couldn't be happier about that.

And does anyone but Michael read this damn thing because I haven't gotten any comments at all in like a month or longer?

The news keeps getting better.

Today my favorite Nascar driver, Mark Martin won his first race in 2 years. His 34th career win. Strange thing is I predicted him winning this race on Friday after qualifying. Just another one of those gut feelings don't have a clue were they come from especially since he hadn't won in 2 years.

Also the Lakers lost and anyone who knows me knows how much I despise the Lakers. And for anyone who doesn't know me, I don't dislike them because they are so good, I dislike them because their players have huge egos and just about every player who signs with the Lakers turn dirty. Take Karl Malone for example even just last year he was a great and clean basketball player. Now that he is with the Lakers he has become one of the dirtier players in the league.

It is amazing how much kids get into the Harry Potter stuff. Had some kids come into work all dressed up with the robes and fake wands and even one of them had a pair of fake glasses like Harry Potter wears.

Got two things of great news, for me atleast.

1.) Is that I got my taxes back and I get $702 back which kicks ass.
2.) Just found out that Everclear is coming back to Atlanta on July 2nd to do a show and you know my ass will be there.

Just a warning that this is probably going to be a long post. Got back yesterday from Orlando around 7:45pm. Orlando was kind of boring. Making this trip just made me realize even more how much I dislike Florida other than for vacationing. I could never live there. It was extremely hot the whole time around 95 degrees or higher with the heat index in the 100's and anyone who knows me knows that I don't like hot weather that I prefer cooler weather and like the change of seasons. My moms sister and aunt came to see us while we were there. All we did the whole time was have people come over and my parents talk to them about what changes they want to make to the house. Which includes painting in and outside, putting in new carpet and tile, all new plumbing, new air conditioning, adding on a 11x30 room on to the side of the place, exterminators coming to kill any insects or rodents we might have, and redoing a bathroom. Also The house isn't a house its a mobile home. I don't like mobile homes and not because they make people look poor because they don't you can really fix one of those places up where it looks just as nice as a house. But, I don't car for them because they just don't seem safe to me. Though for a mobile its fairly nice and should look pretty good once they get it fixed up it should look really nice. Its pretty large for a mobile home to 1650 square feet which is exactly have the size of our old house in Peachtree City. Though once my parents add on that one room the mobile home will probably increase to about 2200 square feet. While in Orlando we went to the store and my dad and I went to buy some eggs and we noticed the "vegetarian eggs". What the hell are vegetarian eggs? How do they make vegetarian eggs?

On the drive down to Orlando on last Thursday I watched that second Harry Potter movie to give me something to do to waste time. I am personally not a big Harry Potter fan but the movies are decent and my nephew, who is a big Harry Potter fan, let me barrow it.

When my parents move down there they plan to get a season passes to Disney World so that way we can get into the park anytime we want. So anyone who knows me and wants to go to Disney World for free let me know and I should be able to hook you up. Though I wont be able to do that till next summer when they move down there.

I have also learned that one of my worst nightmares has come true in that the Beastie Boys are making a come back. I hope they fail, that is one group I can't stand.

I finished the book The Taking on Monday. The book was really good it took a different spin on the idea of aliens taking over the planet with an unusual ending that I didn't really expect. Knowing I was going to finish it Monday I went to the store and bought a new book called False Memory another by Dean Koontz of course. So far it seems really good I read the first 100 pages the first day, though it is a 751 page book. False memory is about the fear of ones self as the books front cover says "...extraodinary novel of the human mind's capacity to torment--and destroy--itself".
